Letter #2 MTC

November 16, 2006
I have had so much fun these first few days even though this has only been my first full day. Everyone in the room that I am in are all going to the Winnipeg mission so we are all getting to know each other really well. I have the best companion he is so much fun to be around, but then I have to be with him most of the day, just not at times when we need to go to the bathroom.
There are about 12 elders in my district, counting myself, it is district 15-A, 8 of us are going to the Canada Winnipeg Mission so that is one cool thing, I will know most of the people that I will go out into the field with.

Saturdays from now on are going to be my p-day. Today though we were all in class for the whole day, but we were given some time to do our own thing; study, plan our first lesson, read, visit the T.E.C. (Teacher Evaluation Center). Elder Cutright and myself were able to get our first lesson plan put together. I found out the other day why they had me come in on the 15th and why we are going on the 13th, Thanksgiving... they do not bring missionaries in during that week so they have them come in a week early. And they have them leave the same time that they would.

Today has been one of my favorite days here at the MTC. I am trying to get all of the pictures that I can, but we really don't get much time to do much of your own thing. I have a great view from my room we can look out and the temple is right there. But I have had so much fun here and I have you all in my prayers.

P.S. I will take plenty of pictures of the Christmas lights and send them to all of you. I think that they will turn them on at thanksgiving.
